Maintain the Human Capital Management system of record, INOVA, which houses our recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, performance management, and benefit modules.
STAFFING
Provide set up and support of recruiting process from applicant flow through onboarding
Provide input/approval of background checks
Interview exempt level staff and key non-exempt staff members
BENEFIT DESIGN AND ADMINISTRATION
Offer medical, dental, and vision coverage through Aetna
Life and disability offered via New York Life with EAP administered via ComPsych
401K administered via Fidelity Investments
Provide COBRA, FSA, ADA, FMLA and HIPAA administration
ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Brand specific training as required and relevant for role
Monthly training includes safety/security, core value and benefit/wellness topics
Train new managers on employment laws that are relevant for their leadership role
Source relevant individual development courses based on performance review and succession planning feedback
COMPLIANCE/EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Acts as consultant for any level of associate regarding employment law
Maintain associate handbook and confidential personnel files
Assist managers with consistent guidance on coaching and conflict resolution
Promptly and confidentially investigate concerns and grievances
Assess risk, costs, and benefits of various employment decisions PAYROLL
Payroll Manager / Finance Team provides oversight of payroll administration via M3 & Inova
Preparation of all required payroll tax deposits and returns
Maintain I-9, social security number, and rate of pay information
Administer garnishment and various reporting
Administers loyalty program and bonus structure
