Strand Works Hard to Give Back to the Children of St. Jude

​Every year Strand participates in the "Give Thanks Give Hope" campaign in partnership with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital for the months of April and May. This year as part of our fundraising efforts we are adding in a fundraiser for the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer and another campaign in October. For the past five years we have continued to increase our support for this great cause and had big hopes and dreams for this year to raise $50,000 for our 50th anniversary year after raising over $25,000 last year. Our hotels are challenged to host fundraisers during the campaigns using their creativity to raise more than their fellow Strand hotel team's. Pictured left are just a few of what we saw during this year's first campaign. We are extremely proud of our team's efforts as they worked to raise $40,830.84 in just our first campaign this year! With the two fundraising campaigns left this year we are confident our team's will certainly band together to reach our annual fundraising goal. Way to go Strand team!
